Holiday Detector

A Preventive coating is applied to the surface from preventing corrosion. In coating a puncture may be due to manufacturing process or any other reason. The damage in this coating is called "HOLIDAY".

Detection

A material having proper coating is non conductive of electricity. Any puncture / bare portion leads to the current flow of electrical power. A high voltage is applied through moving electrode (Ring electrode / rubber brush) on coating material and a current jump is observed. If any current jump is observed, it is marked as HOLIDAY
